  i said god is not giving them much of a chance to hear his message, i think it's one to 3 million ratio.

  i said if wt paid prime internet space they could beam their propaganda to everyone instantly, then you could show the world mr lett live , and explain how he is to rule the world from heaven.

  then i asked that god seems to like the anglo nations , i should of asked how many chinese and indian are on the gb..

  July Broadcast - Bible Teach book and Keep Yourselves In Gods Love book

  i didn't manage to last the whole broadcast.

  it was so unbelievably boring that i only managed halfway before i switched it off.

  in this broadcast anthony morris iii (who i affectionately call "the don") stresses to us the importance of studying - not one - but two of their publications in order to understand the bible.

  Just a note PE; when the writer said "all scripture is inspired of God and beneficial...", he was not referring to the Bible. We know this because it was written about three hundred years before the Bible was compiled.
  

  From the contemporary usage of Paul's Greek, "scripture" is understood to refer to that category of writings which were intended to be of an uplifting nature, as opposed to say legal documents, history or religious obligations. This means that Paul would have had in mind works such as the most popular Christian texts of the first two centuries which was The Shepherd of Hermas. It could not refer to The Bible!

  Subliminal images - why and who are the individuals behind it?

  i remember about 5 years ago reading on another site about subliminal images in wt literature.

  i honestly thought it a load of bs until i checked out one glaringly obvious image of a creepy skull in clouds within the knowledge book.

  i was shocked and even showed my wife at the time who thought it was creepy.. so my question is why?

  If the incompetence and egoism found in the WT art department is true-- and idealistic JWs with a talent for art are let loose to do their work--and the department heads are JW zombie company men...........then I can see how it happens.

  As a designer/artist myself, there is nothing more stultifying to free personal expression than claustrophobic life in a highly controlling religious institution. (How did you manage it CC?)

  One can imagine how the idealist bro gets to work in art at Bethel and finds his creative freedom squashed, what does he do? He doodles and sees what he can get away with, having awoken to the fact that JW HQ is hell on earth and that the organisation is a fraud. His artwork cleverly leaves tiny but permanent marks of his dissatisfaction and he has to look for a way to escape the oppressive cult.

  I have heard of one such and I don't suppose he was the only one.

  Pariedolia is something visual artists are always conscious of and play with, just as writers, poets and playwrights deal with ambiguities in words and nuance of meaning. The JW organisation however is inclined towards a religious fascism!

  Watchtower teaches that Jesus dying on the stake is no longer certain

  the watchtower has held for many years that jesus died on a stake and held strongly to this teaching.

  w 1951 3/15 the above agrees with the new world translation of the christian greek scriptures in its appendix, page 769, in saying that the instrument upon which jesus was nailed was a stake without a crossbeam, and not the religiously represented “cross”; and that the greek word used for that instrument in ancient time meant a “stake” and not the conventional religious cross.

  2017 Sunday RC Final Talk & Comments About 1975

  many of us here have commented on the deceitful friday afternoon video shown at the 2017 rc that discussed 1975.. the video attempted to shift the blame onto congregation members for the fiasco saying, "some were looking to a certain date as signifying the end of this old system of things.".

  this same video mentions how, “a few even went so far as selling their homes and quitting their jobs.”.

  we all know that the wt leadership created this teaching and endorsed it right up to its abject failure.. now below is the concluding talk given on sunday at the rc.

  The JW religion is based on the imaginative ramblings of religious loonies, notably Russell and Franz.

  I remember Fred Franz towards the end of his life, at the opening of a new WT building at Mill Hill Bethel north-west London. He said in a wistful tone “Perhaps we will look back at some time in the future and see how 1975 fits into the divine scheme of things” (or words very close to this).

  The whole JW organisation is founded on such flimsy waffle passed off as divine pronouncements!

  The trick they perform is to tell the gullible sheep that “such and such is true”, followed by the non-sequitur that “Jehovah cannot lie”.

  for some reason i found myself shaking my head once again in disbelief at the story in genesis.. amongst all things, the very concept of a "flaming sword" spinning around and blocking the "entrance to the garden of eden" is so stupid!.

  do people really believe that as a fact?.

  seriously, swords were not even invented at that time!
